Lidl wanted a creative take on a traditional Valentine gift. Setting up a campaign that featured their fresh vegetables instead of the more classical flowers.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE
Together with BBDO we have launched the ideal Valentine’s gift: ‘Versboeket’. A bouquet full of fresh vegetables instead of flowers. Because what is better than to wish good health to the people you love. We set up a win action where you could participate to win a ‘versboeket’ to give to your loved one on Valentine’s Day. None other than Willy Sommers supported this campaign by transforming his hit ‘7 anjers, 7 rozen’ into ‘7 Venkels en Frambozen’. Willy himself also handed out bouquets to 5 lucky winners.
