BRIEFING

Together with Lidl we partnered up to create a child-friendly Halloween concept in one of the most popular theme parks in Belgium: Plopsaland De Panne. During the holidays in November we created a special activation for the children to experience the fun side of Halloween.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE

Together with our partners, we created a Lidl-branded Halloween barn on the main square of Plopsaland De Panne where kids were invited to draw their own scary Halloween pumpkin. Each 30 minutes, some scary drawings were selected to be carved in a real pumpkin. The happy winners were able to take home their own scary pumpkin.

Not only the winners of the pumpkin challenge got to take something home. All visitors received a nice gift as well! We provided some pieces of pumpkin and a recepy so they could make their own bloody pumpkin soup at home.

Besides the creepy barn on the main square, we also organised a soup sampling in the park. Each day between 15h and 18h, visitors could enjoy a cup of warm and healthy soup.

THE RESULT

700 scary drawings and 150 carved pumpkings.

6000 warm cups of pumpkinsoup during those rainy days.
